The film combines rare archival material with commentary from those who knew Long and those who studied him. The film is narrated by David McCullough, directed by award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns ("The Statue of Liberty," "The Brooklyn Bridge") and produced by Ken Burns and Richard Kilberg.
