Crop Failure Leave Farm Workers Unemployed
An early spring and a series of frosts destroyed much of Michigan's fruit crop this year. Field workers who rely on the harvest for their income have been left without jobs, and farmers are afraid that more bad years will mean less farm labor in the future.
