Meet the Host: George Murphy

Born and raised in western Massachusetts, George Murphy is a 20+ year veteran of local radio and television.

George was destined for broadcasting long before that. Since high school, he has had a passion for community theater. His acting landed him a role on the Emmy-nominated children's program, Odyssey, which aired on WWLP in the 1960s. Outside broadcasting, George has devoted much of his adult life to fighting world hunger.
