Making It Here is a television series from WGBY that celebrates an aspect of life that almost all people share: most of us go to work each day. And many people are passionate about that work and what they do. Our programs will chronicle the energy, the struggles, the accomplishments and the personalities that make our work so important to us.

This season the Making It Here Crew will take you white water rafting down the Deerfield River, introduce you to a Connecticut woman who is an internationally known Kung Fu Champion, and meet a man from Hampden who is making a one of kind hand carved Steinway Piano.

New this season: Energy Matters with Sandy Thomas.  Sandy will join host George and travel across western New England unveiling the many approaches to being green that range from wind power to cellulose insulation and alternative forms of transportation.

Tune in every Monday night at 7:30pm as we tour western new England in search of interesting people, places and products.
