Each weekday morning at 5:30, WGBY is proud to present a show for parents, grandparents, educators, or anyone who has the important job of helping children learn: A Place of Our Own! 

A Place of Our Own shares ways for us all to help children acquire cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills, as well as nurture language and literacy development. A Place of Our Own’s support for child care providers, providing tips special for the classroom and group learning. By supporting you in delivering the information parents and educators need, we better help our children prepare for school.   

Just look at the topics we’ll cover: sibling rivalry, potty training, behavior management, play and creativity, and much more!
