New
England is fertile ground for teaching children and teenagers
about important biological concepts. This guide supplements
a series of videos produced by WGBY
on the natural history of the Connecticut River and includes
the scripts, discussion questions, potential student projects,
curriculum resources and website information to help you expand
your science curriculum. We hope these materials take students
beyond passive video watching and engage them in real activities.
