Miso is a versatile seasoning made by fermenting soybeans and a grain like barley or rice. I often get asked how it can be used, aside from in miso soup, and my answer is that it can be used almost anywhere in place of salt. It’s delicious in breads, dressings, sauces, soups, stews, pasta…well you get the idea. Visit the Fresh Tastes Blog for the recipe and more delicious information.
